Thanks for your response on the overnite feeds. Do u mind if I ask your feed schedule? My girls eat 4-4.5 oz every 3 hours (4 hours at nite). I do hate waking them up but they're small ( 8 lbs and 10 lbs). Thanks for your input.
We do every 3 hours now. We used to do more of an "on demand" feeding schedule that was a rough 3 hour window but since they're sleeping longer and more regularly at night it's an exact schedule now which makes it easier for me to plan my days.
We do first morning bottle at 7am, then again at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and bedtime starts at 630 with a bath and story before their 7pm bottle. They are down and totally asleep by 730. The only overnight bottle they have is when they wake up (between 3 and 4am) and then they're back down until 7am where we start over.
We make them each a 4 oz bottle at each feeding but they don't take all of it typically because I do try to breastfeed them before each bottle. We've always done partial breastfeeding, partial bottles so I don't know exactly how much formula they will want at any given time.
Hope that helps!
