Success after IF

why?

yes..here i am again..holding a baby that is refusing to sleep...been trying for 1.5 hours (now i hear joey crying too)

oh, but thats not all...as i sad las night, the pipes froze in the kitchen..well, they came back this afternoon thank God, but i didn't realize that my husband tried torun thwe dish washer and after finding out those pipes were frozen too..he didn't shut it off..so the kitchen is flooded..and my socks are soaked

oh, and the pipes to the washing machine froze, and that has not come back..so if the boys dirty these pajamas...oh well, they will sleep in onesies i guess.

and i just turned on some water to boil to make more bottles..and i turned on the wrong burner, and i think i ruined the tea pot.

?ummm anything else??

Re: why?

  • I'm so sorry you've been having such a rough time lately. I know it probably doesn't help but I think you're doing a great job! You have had a lot thrown at you, and you deserve a break. I hope you get one very soon. Is there anyone you can call to come over and help, or just to hang out with you? (((HUGS)))

  • Ahhh crap!!! I'm sorry!!!!!!!!! You do whatever you have to get those boys to sleep- another bottle, rock them, hold them, lay with them. You do what you have to!!

Sorry about the pipes and your tea pot!!!!

  • im just gonna keep them awake for a little while while i clean up the mess in the kitchen...then i will give them a bottle to try and get them to sleep..the only way they are going down at night at all these days is to rock them with a bottle..so i have to do it individually..which leaves the other screaming his head off..so i will wait until dh gets home at about 9:30-10.. there is nothing else i can do..i have tried the last 3 nights to lay with them, feed them at the same time, lay with one, while the other screams, rock one while the other screams..it jusst doesnt work..this is all i can do at this time :(

    ?

oh, and not to overbitch (which i already have)

but i have an ear infection too..

oh and until they get on a better schedule, no breaks for me...they will not nap/sleep AT ALL for anybody else..the other day i got to get out for a doctors appt (lucky me) and i came back to MIL playing with 2 overtired hadn't napped yet at all at 1 pm babies...dh couldn't handle it himself, so he called MIL, and she couldn't get them to sleep, so what the hell..lets get them overstimulated so i had to deal with it..

    ahhhhh

im sorry im such a complainer these days :(

    i love my boys?

  • Looks like we're in the same boat with the sleep issue again.  DD has woken up twice now after being soundly asleep.  I handed her off to DH so he could burn some of that energy out of her.  It will undoubtedly end in tears....sigh.

I'm so sorry about your pipes freezing.  What a mess!  [[[HUGS]]]

  • oh sweetie,  I am so sorry.  I really wish I was closer, I would come help.

    *hugs*

  • Nora,

You need a short break and a long nap. Is there any way your husband can take the boys tomorrow and you can get some time to rest? i am so sorry for all the things going on..

    Thinking of you!

  • I'm sorry things are rough right now. I think that things got a lot easier once my girls were crawling and pulling up, as counter intuitive as that sounds. They were able to entertain themselves much more and just chilled out a little. Anyway, I hope that things look up for you soon!
  • Omg, you poor thing! If you need to, just sit down and have a good cry. I do it on a daily basis (and not for any good reason, just from my pregnancy hormones!) and I always feel better. I will think good thoughts for you that things begin to turn around for the better. This super cold weather is surprising even us in the northeast! Hang in there, sweetie!
