This might be too personal a question so you can tell me to buzz off if it is

How did you decide that you were actually ready for another baby? I want another baby so bad, it's not a question of that, but part of me worries about the timing. How did you know that you were actually ready for another member of you family and not trying to replace your experience? I feel like part of me wants to have a baby sooner rather than later because I want to experience all those things I didn't last time; being huge, having DH there, leaving the hospital with a baby, etc. Not that there is a guarantee that I'll have a perfect pregnancy and delivery next time. Do you ever worry about that? I get so jealous of friends when they have new babies because of their experience and I want that too... how did you know that you wanted a baby and not the experience or does it all go hand in hand?

You know, I haven't really thought about it in terms of having the full term newborn experience.  As someone who dealt with infertility, my struggle has been making sure I want another baby for the baby and not for the "BFP!"...if that makes any sense. 

It also helps that we've always wanted several children and we enjoy having Campbell so much now that we want to have more.  I'm also one of 4 and we are all close in age so I've always wanted my children to have that experience.

It does, thanks We've always wanted 2, it's just such a different experience now and I want to make sure that I'm ready to handle it all. It's funny, 18 months ago I would have never believed that I would need to emotionally prepare myself for pregnancy, but once you know all the bad things that can happen, it's hard not to let your mind go there
