well, that went well

I just tried to take Noah to the movies.  He's been once before and did great, sat in his chair the whole time, etc.  Today, not so much.  We had to go to the lobby after about 20 minutes.  Then after about 10 min of that he wanted to go back in.  I told him several times if he got out of his chair we'd have to go home.  After about 20 more minutes he tried to get out of his chair.  I reminded him it was in his chair or go home.  Needless to say, he picked home.

Oh well, it was a $ theater, so our ticket total was $2.50.  Not too much wasted.  And it was Madagascar 2 that we were seeing.  And yes, he had popcorn as a snack.  It still wasn't enough to keep his little booty in his chair.

  • He did better than my DS would do I'm sure.  I can't imagine even attempting a movie right now.  Maybe we'll try this summer when they do the free kid's movies :)

  • I give you credit for taking him! I wouldn't even attempt it

  • My DD would do the same thing.  I have never brought her to the theater, but we'll test it out when our local library does a free kids movie during president's week.  I'm not holding my breath, though...
  • that is playing at our dollar theater, too.  I was seriously considering taking N tomorrow-but not sure if I have the guts to do it!
