So, we're back from the NT scan...thanks so much for your prayers.  We have one beautiful growing healthy baby!!! The baby is measuring a few days ahead at 13W2D and was dancing all around.  I got a couple good pictures that I'll add to my siggy later.  It's so funny how much they move around in there!  Party in my uterus!!!  Oh- and the NT scan itself went great.  Everything according to the u/s is within normal limits so now we just have to wait for the blood work to come back to have a more difinitive answer.  We couldn't be happier! Oh! And we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time- soooo cool!

Then for my surprise:  we got into the car, and DH presented me with a Tiffany's box! He told me he wanted to get me a gift when we got our BFP, but decided on waiting until after the first trimester :)  We call our little one "bean" so he got me a beautiful necklace from Tiffany's from their bean collection! I didn't even know they had that! It was the perfect waty to end our morning :)

    Congratulations on everything going well with the u/s! I can't wait to have u/s where he/she looks like a baby and is moving all around. That was so sweet of your DH to surprise you with a gift. Little blue boxes are the best!

    Congrats and what a sweet gifT!
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     Congrats on a successful NT scan!  Your DH gets some major points today.  I doubt my DH will ever step foot in Tiffany's.  What a thoughful gift!
