Stupid Store that will remain nameless...

I went in there yesterday and scored the paisley fabric from Jenni's post and the the green on the left. Then I find out the are doing away with the fabric section in June. The closest fabric store is 30 miles away ugh!

yea i went and looked at fabrics yesterday (there) too... our's had crap. ?they aren't doing away with their fabrics (yet), but they are doing away with their yarn section... reason i bring this up - i had looked online at Lion brand 100% ?wool yarn, and supposedly it's sold at some of (those) stores. ?yea, not mine.

Seriously??  Another reason they suck!  Our closest fabric store is an hour away. Ugh.  I mean, I love a reason to go to the city to shop, but who wants to drive far just to look around?  Said nameless store is the only place around here to get fabric right now.  Shopping where I live blows.

I just sent them a email and I'm thinking of starting a petition to save it. There is no way I can drive 30-40 miles just to go walk around and maybe buy some fabric.

I hear ya, the ladies working in the craft section of mine keep saying that they are going to do away with the fabric section. my closest option will be 1hr 15min away. boohoo for you and me.

Yeah - I hate to say it but this isn't a new thing. They've been doing away with them across the country for some time now. They're just sort of phasing them all out. I guess they haven't been profitable enough to make it worth it to them. I don't shop at the nameless store because I have much better options but I feel your pain. I've been hearing about this elsewhere for some time now.

All of the evil store's fabric depts will disappear when they remodel each store.

I think they must be doing that in all the stores because ours doesnt have it either and that changed just before Christmas.
