Caffeine content help?

Hey all,

Anybody happen to know the caffeine content in a small skinny cappuccino?  I've only been able to find it for soda, tea, and filtered coffee.... Thanks!

Re: Caffeine content help?

  • One shot= 1 ounce of espresso, about 75 mg of caffiene.

1 ounce of coffee = 20 mg of caffiene.

  • This is what I found on Starbucks website when I put in for a cappuccino (tall with nonfat milk):

There is about 5 mg of caffeine in one ounce of decaf coffee. I have worked at Starbucks for over 3 years, trust me.

  • This is from about.com I dont know if maybe starbucks is different but I know that this is normal?

    Caffeine Content

All figures are approximate, especially with coffee. Different varietals can have different caffeine content, and the way the coffee is roasted can also change the values.

    Double espresso (2oz) 45-100 mg

Brewed coffee (8 oz) 60-120 mg

Instant coffee (8 oz) 70 mg

Decaf coffee (8 oz) 1-5 mg

    Tea - black (8 oz) 45 mg

    Tea - green (8 oz) 20 mg

    Tea - white (8 oz) 15 mg

Coca Cola (12 oz can) 34 mg

Pepsi (12 oz can) 38 mg

Barq's Root Beer (12 oz can) 22 mg

    7-up (12 oz) 0 mgChocolate milk (8 oz) 4 mg

Dark chocolate (1 oz) 20 mg

Milk chocolate (1 oz) 6 mg

Ben & Jerry's Coffee Fudge Frozen Yogurt (8 oz) 85 mg

  • I was saying the caffeine content per ounce... So, if 8 ounces of brewed coffe has 120 mg at most, that equals 15 mg per ounce. Not 120.
  • ah ha i see we are on the same page then
