I want to start saving $ and researching for a new convertible car seat. Buying a different car is NOT an option for us right now. This one is paid off and I refuse to go any farther into debt. I have Pontiac 2001 Grand Prix and it is such a pain to get DS in and out with the infant car seat. I can only imagine how hard its going to be once he has to be in a bigger car seat.
Any advice or recommendations?
Re: Anyone have a 2 dr car?
DH has a 2 door and it is a PAIN. I'm so glad mine isn't a 2DR, because while he seems to have no problem with it, I struggle to get her in and out.
I have no words of wisdom but GL with your search!?
DH drives a VW Gti. We have a Britax Roundabout in the back seat and it fits perfectly. When we put him in the car, we both just sit in the back seat while we get Zachary sitauted. It's actually not as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Once we turn him forward facing (which we're not going to do until he is at or near the RF-weight limit for his car seat), it will be even easier.
We also considered the Evenflo Titan (which is cheaper), but we found the Roundabout on sale. It's a great carseat.
