1st Trimester

so freaking tired!

I feel like such a zombie today.

Yesterday the exhaustion hit me hard when I got home from work. I ate dinner and fell into a DEEP sleep at like 7:00. Woke up at 9 and went to bed at 10. I ended up sleeping through the night until my alarm at 7. By 10 this morning I was ready for another nap.

I'm sitting here at work now clock watching. I'm absolutely exhausted, and can't seem to stay awake.

What do you guys do to cope with this? I feel useless!

Re: so freaking tired!

  • I be useless, I haven't found any other way of dealing w/it.

  • When I was pregnant with my son and still working I used to get up every hour or so and take a walk.  If nothing else it got my blood moving and re-energized me for a few minutes.   I also napped at lunchtime.   I couldn't make it through the day without those naps, so everyday at lunch I took a nap in my car!!  Or in the office if the conference rooms were open - of course I didn't do that until I outed myself there though.  :)

Now I just take a nap when my son naps.   Which reminds me - I need to close my eyes since he will be up soon!!

  • Unfortunately it just gets worse.  Sad My Dr. said you progressively get more tired up until 10-11 weeks, then you start to feel "normal"   I just want a day when I am not going to bed at 7:30, I miss all of my tv shows.  j/k It's all worth it!

  • OMG I just realized that you are in Fairport!!  Me too!!  What a small small world!
  • I thought about napping in my car but I'm not sure it's an option. At least until after it's above -10 outside!

I'm about ready to dunk my head in my water bottle lol

  • No I wouldn't recommend sleeping in your car today - wouldn't work too well!  Nor anytime in the next week from the looks of it!    Its so nice to see someone from around here!!   Good luck with the exhaustion - I promise it will lift as soon as you hit the second tri.   :)
