Usually you have to take this test for an employer. I had to take mine before I was hired.

The actual strengths finder is from a book called "now discover your strengths" by Marcus Buckingham.  It's part of a series.

Marcus has consulted with my company many times and every employee here takes the test.  Plus we get a consulting call with gallup to discuss how our results impact our roles.
