I was channel surfing.

The Real World is on.

I remember when I used to look at the cast of the real

world and 1) they were way older than I and 2) I thought

of them as way mature.

Oy. Maybe I'll go drown my sorrows in another HFCS-

Ha ha- I can't watch it anymore- I feel like I caught bits and pieces of the following seasons and was interested-

NY, LA, Boston, Miami, London, San Fran, Seattle- but somewhere along the line (maybe when they started "giving" them jobs) I got annoyed/bored w/ them. 

Now if I see those stupid challenge shows on TV I want to scream.

Daisy, don't get me wrong, I didn't make it through more

than five minutes of this one...something about four 

years without a tv gave me a really limited amount of

time before that something has to grab my interest.

I have to confess that the other day there was a behind the scenes type show on about The Real World and I actually watched it (well, it was on in the background as I surfed).  Did you know there have been like 20 some seasons of that show??  THAT makes me feel old!

Yep, just checked Wiki to be sure I wasnt making it up and they've had 20 seasons.  Guess they have more than one a year.  Started in 92.

We never had cable, so the very few times I saw it was when we were on vacation in hotels, and even then, I don't think I ever watched much.  I always judged how old I was by the figure skaters & gymnasts in the olympics.  I got sad when they started looking like little kids - that made me feel old

In the church I grew up in, there was a group called "Master's Commission" that was a 1?year?or more "ministry training" program after college. ?I remember that they were always the GROWN-UPS who did camp skits, etc. ?I feel SO old when I realize that they are years younger than I am now...
