How are you doing? Things are good here.  Both of mine have colds AGAIN but otherwise things are good.

I was happy to see that your DH is getting on board with #2.  FWIW we had a new years party and I was talking to a SAHD of 2 and we agreed that having two is more like having 1.5.  It's not quite twice the work.

Mike (DH)  is  going to NYC this weekend I am so jealous!!  I'm debating taking Sara alone and going sometime.  I just have to find the cash... Otherwise I'm hoping to do what I did with C and go for a weekend when she is 12 mos (and leave them both with DH).

I miss NYC!!

Anyway just wanted to catch up!

Hey!!!

Things are going well. Still enjoying my ONE. DH isn't yet on board, but he's getting there. Financially, its pretty much impossible!

How's it going in the sleep department for the two?

There's one way we differ, I can't leave my baby, not for a night and definitely not for a weekend! How do you do it?

What is your DH going to the City for?

I left C when he was 12 mos.  I planned it when he was about 6 mos assuming that he'd be STTN and weaned by then (hahahahahaha) so I kind of felt obliged to follow through.  But it was fine.  He was used to sleeping with Mike cos we all sleep together and I just pumped in between bars   I left again when he was 17 mos!  That was harder b/c he missed me for sure.  At 12 mos he didn't seem to mind so much.

 Mike does a podcast with his friends so he's going to record. My sister and friend will come here (from NY) so we can have a girl's weekend.  Well- 4 girls and one 2 year old boy.

C sleeps in his toddler bed at the start of the night (we push that b/c I love having some time to read in bed if I can) but he's usually in with us at some point.  Sara sleeps great (in my armpit) and I wake up more checking to see if she's  breathing than anything else.  She's still really mellow.   I have to say I love waking up with the two of them. Smiles on both sides it's really sweet.

How is Brooke doing?

A girls and one boy weekend sounds like so much fun too!

And the sound of waking up next to two beautiful kids sounds pretty damn nice too!

B is great! I'm sure you saw me boasting that she's done with PT. She did excellent, I'm so proud of her. She's been pretty much sleeping through the night and wakes up now around 6am, I bring her to my bed and she's back to sleep. She's still in her crib though. I'm keeping her in there forever.

I didn't see your PT post - go brooke!!  that is wonderful. C is terrified I can't get him to even try!!

Don't push him. I tried with B in August and she literally said "I want my pamer back"

I didn't fight her on it and decided to let it go until she was ready.
