It's official--we're CIS approved!!!

We just got an e-mail telling us that we've received CIS approval!  I can't express the happiness and excitement, even though I already knew it was coming.  We're now completely through with US requirements until after we are united with our child.

What are next steps?

Finishing our dossier--which means psychologicals, medicals, and the final bits of the paper chase.

Then, after it's all apostilled and certified for international use, it gets sent to Peru, translated, and submitted to their adoption authorities.  Then we WAIT to be approved, followed by the WAIT for a referral (unless we ask to parent on the Waiting Angels list, in which case the approval and referral will be decided together).
