Update on my first appt for those interested (pg mentioned)

Everything was good! My BP was high but that was due to nerves!

They did an u/s and there was a baby with a yolk sac attached, and a HEARTBEAT! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO. We could see the little heart flickering on the screen!

The dr said that it looked great. I am measuring a couple days behind (6wks 5days) but she said that is nothing to worry about, as long as you are within 5 days you are good.. By measurements I would be due Sept. 2nd. But she said since it was only a few days to leave it as 8/31.

I am so relieved now girls! I cannot even explain the relief I feel. And my dr was great (actually the nurse practicioner). She took a lot of time to talk to me about my fears, etc.. Even related to me how her dr thought she had a molar pg with her third child and how scary that was. I felt like I was talking to a human being, not a medical machine, lol..

She also told me that my last pg was a blighted ovum, not a missed m/c! Ooops... And she said that I shouldnt worry about this pregnancy unless I suddenly stop feeling pregnant!
