I really think its FLAT.
Not flattening, but just flat.
At the last pedi appt (about 2 wks ago) the dr said "more tummy time" but that doesn't stop the flatness! And he sleeps on his back... so its not going to get any better, only worse.
Anything I can do?? (besides more tummy time - which we've been doing!)

Re: Concerned about his head...
You can change which end of the crib you put him to bed at at night and for naps....
Because babies want to look out into the room, usually, alternating ends of the crib can help even things out.
?I know it is not recommended AT ALL for sleeping but we also used the noggin nest - by boppy - its like a donut type pillow that takes pressure off the back of their head?when on playmats or in the car seat.
We used it at night sometimes too...gasp?
Start sleeping him on his stomach, and rotate his head when he's on his back.
My son's head was pretty flat, and it rounded out fine on its own. No helmet required.
You can try a Boppy Noggin Nest in his bouncer, swing, car seat, etc. I've used one with both of my boys and neither of them has a flat head.
If you're really concerned about it, ask for a referral (if you need one) to a pediatric neurosurgeon/plastic surgeon ASAP. The earlier it's treated, the better the results.
