We have the Graco iMonitor, and I like it b/c it's digital and it's completely silent when she's not making any noise. Plus, it's really sensitive--it even picks up the dogs in our neighbors backyard if they bark.
We got the Summer Infant Complete Coverage Video Monitoring System. It has the the tv/monitor that has the big picture we keep that in our bedroom and then has a portable handheld with a video screen that we can carry around the house. I was comfortable with just a audio monitor, but my husband really wanted the video monitor.
We have the Summer Infant day/night handheld video monitor. The picture is awesome! I also should rave about their customer service. The first one we received was defective, so they replaced it... no questions asked.
I am in the market for a new monitor too. I had the Fisher Price lights and sounds private connection monitor. About 2.5 months after my son was born, there was this horrible ringing sound and I couldn't hear my son even if it was turned up all the way. It's been a few weeks and we really need to get a new monitor...
Don't waste the $60 on that monitor, it will probably die on you. (I've been reading Babies RuS reviews, and other people have had similar things happen).
Re: Baby monitor recs, please?
summer day/night video monitor.
LOVE IT, but sometimes i just wish i had an audio one so i could grab it and run (tv takes a minute to move around the house)
