Babies: 0 - 3 Months

I hate that my husband

went to bed 2 seconds ago (claims he is getting a cold) and I can already hear him snoring - LOUDLY.

Guess I'll be sleeping on the couch.

How come men fall asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow? ?I hate that.?

Re: I hate that my husband

  • My husband does the same thing. A swift elbow to the back usually helps ;)

  • Ummm yeah sounds like my DH. I hate his snoring.... I always try to go to bed a little before he does so that I can hopefully fall asleep before he does.... otherwise, the snoring KILLS me!
  • annoys me too, especially when he falls asleep on the couch and is snoring and STILL denies that he is even asleep, lol.  BTW love Catherine's pic, all i can think of is "STOP Hammertime"
  • oohhh, that makes me irrationally angry too... especially if I'm feeding the babies.

  • dh is the sam way... he falls asleep so fast and if i am trying ot talk to him  he says he's just resting his eyes.....  lol while snoring??
  • Weird. We were just talking about this today. It's actually proven science that men fall asleep faster than women. Why? WHYYYYYYYYYY?? I was talking about snoring with my MIL and FIL. And we got on this exact topic.

    That is weird, man. Weird!

  • It totally isn't fair - my husband does the same thing and of course - like all of us - I go to bed and only 1/2 sleep - I constantly keep an ear open for DD.  I swear that it never fails: DD still wakes up around 3-4 in the a.m. for a small bottle.  The minute I get back to bed and put my head on my pillow my DH starts snoring something fierce! I do usually poke him, shake him, elbow him and tell him to roll over.

  • Weird!! So its a man problem!? I never knew that. I seriously have my DH convinced that he has a mild form of narcolepsy... I thought he did and I totally get annoyed with it.

    LMAO!

  • Its all mental I'm sure - they can just turn off their minds because they don't have to worry or care about the five million things that need to be done all the time......
  • I flop around on the bed till he rolls over.
