i think my dc is sick. shes 2 wk old & starting to shoot snot out her noise when she sneezes. me & her dad have both been fighting a virus, and im afraid we shared it. wwyd?

DD hasn't gotten sick yet, but I've seen saline drops recommended for their nose, and using the bulb thingy (can't remember the name) to help clear their nose....that's all I got, sorry!

Saline nose drops, bulb syringe, cool mist humidifier, and let her sleep with her head elevated (either put a phone book under her mattress or let her sleep in the carseat or bouncer).  If she gets worse, or doesn't get better in a few days, call your ped.  Also, call your ped if she runs a fever.  Good luck!  I'm dealing with colds in our house this week, too...not fun! : (

I thought my DS was getting sick around that age too.  Turns out he was just congested and needed some help removing snot from his nose.  I would call your pedi and make an appointment though just to be sure.

Take her temp and call if she has a fever. is she acting lathargic? my pedi said they won't eat or really do much of anything besides sit there and sleep if they are sick.
