When Do you Upgrade Nipple Flow?

I have Born Free Bottles and noticed the medium flow nipples say 3+ months.  My DS will be 3 months this coming week.  How do you know when your child is ready to upgrade?  Also, I breastfeed but bottle feed when I am at work...36 hours a week.  Does that make a difference (i.e., wanting the flow to be similar to the flow of your breast?)

You can switch when your ds starts getting frustrated at how long it takes to drink from the bottle.  Some bf'd babies don't need to step up the nipple flow at all.
