Anyone use Nuvaring?

The doctor gave me a couple of samples.  I wanted to go back on the pill but can't because of worrisome blood platelet levels.   If anyone here has used it, what are some side effects and do you like it?

I used it for a few years before TTC my DD. I loved it... never had a single problem, couldn't feel it at all, DH didn't mind it during sex, didn't have to remember a pill every day or worry about taking it at the wrong time, etc.

I went off it in Oct 07, and my cycle was a bit irregular for a couple months, which was annoying... but we still conceived DD in Jan 08 (the first month we "officially" started trying).

At the time I totally loved it.  I was on it for a year before TTC DS.  It did everything it was supposed to do and I had no side effects on it at all.  When I went off to TTC, I immediately felt sooooo great.  I won't do hormonal BC ever again.  I didn't know I felt bad on BC, but I was on it for so long.  Anyway, if you're not affected by hormonal BC, then I loved it!

Just had to add that I totally agree with the post above... I loved the NR, but won't be going back on any hormonal BC for a while. I felt perfectly fine while I was on it, but being off it just felt better. Not really sure why...
