yucky week

I need to vent......

Why is that my mother and DH can not recognize that I need life to be as calm as possible in order to work full time and take care of DD.  Both of them this week seriously drove me up the wall.  My mother and her comments about me making my daughter my priority over work, which is obviously false and my DH telling me last minute his son has a bball game tomorrow morning, when he knew I had a eye dr appt and he had to watch DD in the AM so of course we are arguing.  Why do they have to stress me out!!!!   I am doing enough as it is, that I just want this weekend to be stress free and want to focus all of my attention on DD and be in a good mood!

    Why can't he take the baby to the game?

    Tell him to suck it up! And perhaps a little STFU for your mom would help too.

    Sorry your mom and DH are being insensitive.  I just had to talk to my DH about his lack of sensitivity lately, and the discussion actually went quite well. 

     

    Good luck with everything, and I do hope you get to relax this weekend.
