I never realized you were dealing with PPD and didn't read the whole history. ?Were you depressed before pregnancy?

?I've been battling major depression since 1999 and am still having trouble find the right combination of medications to help me. ?I saw you posted about Zoloft - has your doctor mentioned any augmentations to that?

Unfortunately for me, I chose to stop BFing because I was a mess and had to get back on my medications and didn't want it to effect Catherine. ?I just couldn't parent being so depressed.

I take Lexapro and Wellbutrin - a combination that is working for me now but what I found to happen is they always work for a while and then stop and I have to switch again and go through months of hell until things are straightened out.

?I hope you can find a medication regime that works for you because I know how you feel.

***disclaimer*** this is not a kiss your ass to try to get on your good side post.....LOL

I really do care about nesties dealing with depression because I deal with it and sometimes people don't always understand the severity of the problem.?

    In my experience, if you're having any issues with anxiety at all, Paxil is a good med for that. If you have anxiety or panic attacks, a good supplement is Xanax or Valium (or something like it) when you're in a pinch.

    Don't know if anxiety is a problem for you personally, but several years back my doctor had a hard time finding a good combo of meds for me. Then Paxil was released and that was the one.

    Hope you find some relief soon!

    Yes, depression runs in my family. I lost my mother when I was 9 y/o to an abusive boyfriend and well....in all honesty, I have not been the same since. I have taken them ALL. Zoloft seemed to be working until recently. I actually went on it the day after I delivered given my previous history.  I am BF'ing so they wanted me off of Lexapro, which is what I took before I got pregnant.

     

    Anyway, it's so weird that you outed yourself...but seriously? Your kids are CUTE.
