When to get photos done..

we have a photographer that is going to take prof. pic's of the baby when he is born. she said to try and come when he is fairly new because they grow and change so quickly..when do you think is ok to do it? aren't you supposed to keep the baby home and away from people and germs for at least a few weeks or am i totally off base?? sorry..clueless!!!

A photog I met with wanted to pretty much meet us at the house when we got home from the hospital. They lose that "newborn" look pretty darn fast, sadly enough.

I'm a photographer and within a week of the baby being born is a good time. But the time they hit two weeks they lose some of that "newborn" look.....

this may sound like a stupid question, but can i take her to this woman after only 1 or 2 weeks...she doesnt come to my house..we take the baby to her studio

yes, it will be fine to take the baby to her studio.

I took DS grocery shopping when he was a week old. We also had pics taken at 2 wks old at Kiddie Kandids (inside BRU). We only went in to get the pics taken and that was it. Although, we did go to eat at Olive Garden afterwards too...to celebrate my b-day (DS' b-day is 13 days before mine).
