Am I the only one? I have never seen anyone post that they have this pump. I love it and it was a cheap double electric pump. You can pump directly into drop-ins.
I have it too, but I found out from my LC that it doesn't suck hard enough for someone who is an EP'er. I have a low supply and once I switched from the playtex embrace, my supply went up a little bit. She showed me with a little meter that it only sucks at 180 as a double pump and 220 as a single pump. A PISA sucks at 240 as a double! But hey, if it works for you, keep using it. I did like you could pump into dropins though. It was affordable too! are you an EP'er?
I only pump twice a day. I can't imagine it sucking harder! I don't have it on the highest setting and it seems to do the trick for me. I nurse DD at lunch so, I don't need to pump more than twice. I was pumping 3 times then feeding her at lunch, but I have found that I was getting way more than she would eat and it wasn't necessary. I am a little worried that your LC said that isn't a good pump. It has been great for me, but maybe I don't know the difference. I have used a medela symphony at the hospital and that seemed pretty similar as far as sucking goes.
