I just went back and read the knit post, I figured i would start a new thread since thats so buried. Where do you look to find classes? and where do you live?
I was thinking maybe if you join a local cafemom group then ask if theres anyone on there that knits, you might find someone in your area.

I also replied down there, but not sure if she saw.
Youtube is helpful too.

I heard you sew - If I have sewing questions, will you help?
Thanks! NiC
I'm sure you were talking to the original poster, but I'M a TERRIBLE sewer. I could do it well if I wanted, but I'm too impatient and anti-pattern. *sigh*
I'm a good crocheter, if anyone needs help with that lol!

I will need help with crocheting a border in a few weeks - can I page you?
Hey! I leave the board sort order on last updated, so I see the updates
I also tagged it for watching, but thanks for the page!
I'm in the Fairfax Virginia area. I'm looking around at knit shops. The one I found is called "Nature's Yarn". I'm going to drop by to see if the $100 is for several 2 hour classes or just the one.
I do sew. I sew handbags and sell them on etsy, though I've had to temporarily put the shop in vacation mode while raising DD for the first few months. That'll start up again soon when I can figure out where to put my sewing machine (her nursery used to be my workshop).
I can certainly answer any questions you have. Do you have email? It's a good place for me to send pictures to that help explain stitches and techniques.
