Accidently washed a disposable diaper

Ok so I accidently washed a disposable diaper.  So now all the cloths in the wash machine are covered with this clear gel type stuff.   I'm assuming it's from the diaper. Gross!  I'm washing the cloths again hoping it comes out.  I really need to switch to cloth diapers!

Yes, that gel is what's inside the diaper.  The gel just got over saturated and exploded.

gross! yes the gel stuff is from the diap. good luck getting it out, that stuff is sticky. My sister did this just the other day and it took 4 cycles to get all that stuff out.

Whoops! Well I guess now I don't have to wonder what would happen if I washed a disposable diaper

I've done that thanks to my dh forgetting to put it in the pail and throwing it in with dirty clothes!!!! You may want to air dry the clothes first and brush off the gel when it dries. Otherise you may end up with a washer full of gel instead. It seemed to work ok for me.   Good luck!
