Newborn bottle recs?

Anyone have any recs on bottles for newborns?  Currently I've tried Dr. Browns, avent.  The problem seems to be even with the slow flow nipple he eats so quickly and then throws up.  At least I think this may be the problem?  Any ideas???

are you burping every ounce or so? ?i found that if i didn't burp Colin frequently enough, he would spit up... only happened twice, but i make sure he burps about halfway through and then at the end of the bottle.

ETA: we use Avent bottles.?

I BF, but we do give a bottle occasionally.  We use Playtex Drop-Ins with the slow flow nipples.  We let him drink for a little bit and then force him to take breaks by taking it out of his mouth.  He doesn't spit up very much.

We were using the Playtex bottles but the nipples were really soft and hard to get in her mouth sometimes - she likes to push her tongue up and so we have to push it down to get the bottle in correctly.   We just switched to the Medela bottles and she's doing much better.

Our DS spit up alot no matter what we did the first month or so and he was exclusively BF.  He know drinks pumped milk out of a bottle (Dr. Brown's with Level 1 nipple) and is doing much better.  I think it's just b/c he has matured alittle more and not spitting up as much.

dropins for both kids. neither burp much and #1 never spit up, #2 only spits up formula, not BM

Same here.  DD seems to like the silicone nipples better than the latex.  Also we only burp at the end of feedings, the breaks during feeding replace that.
