So I know the rule for formula is it's ok at room temp for a total of 2 hours, but needs to be done one hour after feeding begins.
I keep room temp water on the counter so I don't have to heat bottles. I'll hear DS stirring from his nap and think he's going to wake, so I'll mix a bottle and leave it next to the bed. An hour later, he's still sleeping. So I put it in the fridge. 30 minutes later, he seems to be waking so I grab the bottle and wait - he stays asleep. This sort of thing happens a lot. So is the botled "renewed" if I stick it in the fridge for a while? I know I should just keep i tin the fridge until he is for sure awake, but then I have to heat it and he is not the most patient baby when he's hungry.?
Re: FF - ? about refrigerating bottles
We have this same problem. And DS is a starving baby when he wakes up. That said, we usually wait to make the bottle until we actually see open eyes! We have wasted TONS of formula on making bottles and leaving them out!
Oh and you can microwave formula surely your DS can wait 30 seconds.
If you microwave though make sure to take the nipple off.
