can I return something that is $29.99 without a receipt? I know they allow 2 returns a year w/o a receipt, but it has to be less than a certain $$

I would try it...I have but could have been who was at the return desk. I returned a box of the wrong sized diapers that were around $20 with no problems.  they gave me a gift card.

You should try.  I returned a baby tub that was about $35 without a receipt with no problem.

I tried to return a $2 piggy bank because I wanted a different color and they wouldn't let me, LOL.
