Dh took the test for the corrections officer position back in October, and he just got a call for an interview!!!

woo hoo!!  he's soo happy and I"m so happy for him!!!   yay!!!

    congrats and good luck.

    I hope his process is much shorter and less complicated than it is for my DH, he's trying for the Police in Council Bluffs. You'd think he was going to be a secret service agent or something. its been 3 interviews and 2 tests with 2 more tests to go before academy.

    that's awesome, congrats!  my dh is a cop and it took him 3 years to find a job, and that's with him having a criminology degree (3.8 gpa).  The interview process is very very long for a cop, so good luck to him!
