Clogged tear duct

My little guy has a clogged tear duct or at least I think. I have called the doc and am massaging his little nose area. I have to make sure it does not get swollen or red.

Did anyone else experience this and how long does it last?

    DD's lasted about 2 weeks and was getting better with warm compresses.  Then one day there was pus/sleepers in her eye.  Took her to the doctor and he thought it probably was a tear duct, but since her eye was irritated, he put her on drops for 5 days.  No problems since!

    mine is almost 14 weeks and still has it,  it can take a while.

    My DD had the same problem, and as Kem said, she was put on drops for 5 days and I had to massage her nose/eye area.  It went away in those 5 days and she's been fine since!
