Skin/makeup experts, I need your advice!

I have weird skin and I'm trying to figure out what I can do about it.  My skin all over is very dry--including on my face.  I immediately slather myself with lotion when I step out of the shower.  My face absorbs the lotion very quickly (face "lotion").  I apply my makeup and go out the door.  A few hours later, my forehead is greasy.  What is the deal?  I use Arbonne mineral powder foundation.

OK, I am not an expert, but are you putting lotion on your forehead? My skin is very similar and I have started just putting it on my cheeks and avoiding the rest of my face.

I would suggest not using a powder if your skin is that dry.?
