Hi everyone,
I’m currently in my second trimester and struggling to get comfortable at night, especially with back and hip pain, and I’m wondering if investing in a maternity body pillow is really worth it. A friend recently suggested I give one a try, but I’m still unsure if it’s better than just using regular pillows.
Some moms say they’re life-changing, while others think regular pillows do the job just fine.
I’d really appreciate your experiences and advice before I decide!
Re: Do Body Maternity Pillows Really Help During Pregnancy?
My husband jokes it's his stand in when I'm pregnant. When baby is born I still use it, It helps to sit up and feed at night and to block my husband from my side when I am laying and breastfeeding. I just told my husband last week it is my top maternity purchase of all time as I snuggled into it at night.
Hope this helps encourage you to splurge on it and get some 💤💤💤.
The thing that's worked best for me so far is actually just using a 2nd king-sized pillow at my back. I finally gave up and did that this week instead of using the pregnancy pillows and this is the best I've slept in quite some time.
