Hey guys, I hope this is ok but I wanted to share my new company Expecting Skincare as we're just starting out this journey so looking to speak to as many pregnant mums as possible and spread the word. Any feedback too is greatly appreciated (the new site is launching in June so the website will change).
Since becoming pregnant with my second child 5 months ago and with the rise of ingredients such as retinol and salicylic acid in everyday products I found it really hard to know which skincare products were ok to use or not during my pregnancy. Off the back of this issue, I wanted to start a company that gives UK centric advice on what skincare products are safe with a simple yes or no answer. We have an amazing cosmetic specialist on board and are currently busy creating the UK's first pregnancy safe skincare checker (also launching in June).
I firmly believe just because you're pregnant your skincare routine doesn't have to become as boring as a dry rice cracker (thanks 1st trimester sickness). By being able to check the products you already own we want to save people money and also help prevent wastage of products. So you can still have an amazing skincare routine even whilst pregnant! Please feel free to take a look at how the checker will work and sign up to our email list by Googling 'expecting skincare' to be notified as soon as it launched or visit our insta @expecting.skincare. As I said hope it's ok to share and thanks so much in advance for reading about our startup with BIG dreams
