Ughhh. I’m sick again. I’ve caught what the boys had. I hate pregnancy for the shitty immune system. I never usually get sick and I’ve been sick 4 times now since I’ve been pregnant. 🫠🫠🫠

@wanderlustsoul ugh I’m sorry. MH actually came home from work early today with a fever. He’s marinating in his germs in our bed and I’m sleeping elsewhere.

@wanderlustsoul that sounds terrible! I've only had a stomach bug thus far but I swear I'm still getting over it weeks later. I think I've just been lucky with sickness because I usually get colds so easily but haven't had any since pregnancy. I hope after this you have a sickness-free pregnancy

@anniemarie887 that's what we usually do but last time my husband had the flu, it was too late so we still slept innthe same bed together. I still didn't get it though, which was really weird for me

It’s the kids. They both go to different daycares and bring home their individual germs. And then they’re always hugging and kissing so sharing with each other. And when they’re sick, all they want to do is cuddle me, cough in my face, shove their germy hands in my mouth.

Today was my oldest’s birthday, so we let her miss school since it’s her 10th birthday, and she chose to go to the children’s museum, and, omg, I am SO exhausted!! And we have her friend party Sunday, then our families are coming over next weekend, and we are busy every weekend in April. 🤪 I normally require lots of downtime just for mental happiness, but the physical pregnancy exhaustion on top of it is another layer!

@runningyogimama Sounds like fun, but definitely exhausting. I too need my downtime (I say as I’m laying all tucked into my giant pregnancy pillow alone at 9:30). I’m sure your daughter had/will keep having a blast! Happy birthday to her 

MH will be out of town for work this week. I’m a little jealous that he gets three whole nights without bedtime routines or the kids/the dog waking up at random hours

Thanks guys! It was a mysterious bug. I had a really crazy fever and felt horrible on Thursday. Spent most of the day resting. Woke up Friday feeling perfect. So I’m all recovered. 

I’m super glad because this weekend is my hotel and spa weekend alone. I haven’t spent a night away from my kids in 2 years. So I was bummed at having to cancel but now I get to do it! 

@runningyogimama happy birthday to your daughter! I bet she had a blast but yes I’d also be exhausted! 

@cammie0526 good luck! I’d also be jealous. You deserve some days off once he’s back!
