I am thankful for Target drive up. Hands down, it is the absolute best thing that came out of the pandemic. Not only is it super convenient, it also saves me hundreds (if not thousands of dollars) in unnecessary impulse purchases.😉
@ladyofarlington right??? I'm the same way but we do Walmart delivery. My hubby swears I spend more money than I used to when I shopped in store, but I definitely have saved so much in impulse purchases. He seems to forget that prices of EVERYTHING have gone up astronomically.
I know it’s Friday and I’ve already been thankful for something, but I am also thankful for my MIL. She is a nurse and it’s amazingly helpful whenever my son is sick or, like today, when he suddenly has a massive itchy rash and hives out of nowhere and I can just text her and get some solid medical advice.
@iiirene having medical workers in your family is the best! I ask my dad a million things too. Only downside is it ifs urgent, since he’s 9 hours ahead of us.

@iiirene my MIL is a doctor for a hospital and I feel like she either blows things off (everything is "allergies" or "sinuses" when it is clearly a cold), or she immediately goes to prescribing antibiotics. Like do viruses/colds not exist in her worild??? And for my son, she was never happy with what the pediatric ophthalmologist said about his eyes (it was a blocked tear duct that we were told would probably clear up by 1 year old...and at 11 months, it finally did). MIL was constantly insisting that it was some kind of infection and that we should go to a new opthamologist. I feel like you are lucky if your MIL is actually helpful as a medical professional lol
I'm thankful for my MIL. My own mom passed a way in 2019 and this pregnancy has been both exciting and sad for me my MIL has been amazing and uplifiting. She wants to be the best grandma she can be to make up for my mom not being here, and she assured me she wants us to raise our children with stories of my mom so they can know both of their grandmas. She has been so sweet and supportive and exactly what I need!
