  • Who are my Team Green buddies?!

  • @Wishilivedinflorida me! I've waited 2 pregnancies to be able to be team green and I'm so happy I finally get to do it. I told DH I don't even want them to tell me the sex right away when baby is born, I wanna look at the baby first

    Angel "Violet" - March 2022
    Baby Dove due March 2023
  • @Wishilivedinflorida me! I'm going with what DH wants this time, and so far that is to be team green. I HAD to find out last time and he didn't want to know, so now it's his turn. I'm much more chill about it this go around, so being team green seems fun!
  • I was considering being team green this time but my anxiety about needing to be prepared won haha. I realize that the only thing that would change is some clothing because everything else I bought was gender neutral knowing we were going to have two. But still I want to know.
  • @mytrueloves and @bbrahmbhatt There is nothing like that moment! I know it’s a “surprise” no matter when you find out, there’s something about going through that tough labor and effort and having that adrenaline rush and hearing “girl” or “boy.” My husband takes the job very seriously! He is now a pro cord cutter and sex announcer. 🤣 Both times he was so choked up he could barely speak! And so far he’s 2/2 with predictions and I’m 0/2…so much for mothers intuition…
  • @Wishilivedinflorida I've wanted to be team green at least once since I got pregnant with DD#1. But DD#1 was the first grandkid in a while and everyone was excited so I let my family talk me into finding out (fun fact: they told me she was a boy! Found out a month later that she was actually a girl at a random scan). And then DD#2, it was DH's first time experiencing a pregnancy so I let him decide whether we would find out, with the promise we could be team green this time. Both of our families are NOT happy with it haha but I am. Not only does it keep them from buying us aggressively gendered items but it also cuts down on questions about the baby's name.

  • I found out at my MW appointment today that I'm having another girl!!! So excited.
  • @Wishilivedinflorida - We did it last time around and it was fabulous. Can't wait to do it again!

  • @Wishilivedinflorida - This is my first time being team green. We have 2 girls and 1 boy, so I have everything I need. Super excited for the birth announcement!
  • Bumping this one back up since now everyone is finding out at their scans.

@cheznet I love this idea! How fun.

ETA Having a big brother and little sister is AWESOME. Mine are BFF (mostly) when they aren’t trying to beat each other up or arguing about rules of a made up game. 🤣
