    I'm gonna start this off. So, yesterday, we were going to see a comedy show, which is about 1.5 hours drive for us, so it's a bit of an endeavor since we also needed to drop our dog off at boarding for the night. Anyways, so as we're talking through the logistics on Saturday, H goes "do you want to grab a bite before or after the show?" and I say "Before.... and probably also after." And he says: "Remember that Dr. Aimee (our fertility doctor) said that you only should be eating an extra 100 calories per day." 



    I somehow managed to grit my teeth and squeeze out "small and frequent meals helps control the nausea." But I was FUMING! FUUUUUUMING.

    My idiot husband just said some stupid shit about me “completely giving up” because I haven’t done the dishes or picked up the house very well or done all of the laundry. He also thinks I’ve given up on potty training our son……because our son peed on the floor under his watch. He doesn’t pee his pants when I’m the one in charge. He even took a champion dump in the toilet this morning….but sure, him peeing on the floor once is my fault. And guess what dude, I’m tired, I’m pregnant, I have a headache, I work full time. Maybe have a little empathy.

    Ooof @iiirene that's really rough. Sounds like your H is going through some rough with his friend's passing and taking it out on you. I hope this passes.

    Yes, he is definitely struggling. I reminded him to try to show me the same empathy that I’m giving to him. He apologized and said that the way it came out was not the way he meant it. So we’re back on good terms. I think we’re just in for a bit of a struggle emotionally together for a little while while he grieves.

    @iiirene I'm glad to hear! Hopefully it's very temporary. Of course, this coinciding with the worst part of pregnancy (symptom wise) is unfortunate.
