Potty training my 3 year old son

Hi,
Wanting some advice on potty training my 3 year old son. He has a potty, has used it for number 1&2 but isn't consistent. He's in pull ups as he's a big boy and those were the only ones fitting him.
I want to start potty training, and not looking to do that 3 day potty training as I've tried that and he was not a fan. He's also not very talkative so he isn't telling me when he needs to go. He's not a big talker in general (he's in speech therapy), but I'm sure there is something I can do to get this ball rolling.
Anyone in my situation/my experiences please can I have advice.
