Can ultrasound miss a pregnancy into late 2nd trimester?

Is there any possibility if you were to be in your second trimester of pregnancy most likely and an ultrasound tech miss a pregnancy via transvaginal ultrasound or an abdominal one? Also is there any possible way it could be missed on an abdominal CT scan? Thank you

  • Absolutely no way.  If they didn't see anything, you are not pregnant.
