Re: Product Spotlight: Maternity Clothes

  • @lilirunning34 I just got some kindred bravely ones - the “grow with me” ones are my new favorite and I plan on ordering some more. So comfy! I just wish they came in more colors
  • What are y’all doing for bras? I’ve officially outgrown my regular ones but don’t know when/how to buy new ones … do I got straight to nursing bras? Will my boobs keeping growing and I’ll have to buy new ones again next month?

Any help would be much appreciated. 14.5 weeks FTM here

  • @bolson16 - Last time I went straight to nursing bras because my boobs kept growing, as did my ribcage! I liked these ones
  • I hate that Motherhood closed all their stores. They always had so many people in the one by us, it made no sense to me. I also hate shopping online but it seems like that’s the only option these days. I also like Kohls for some maternity clothes, but their section is just as small as the ones in Target.

I stayed in my lacey thongs throughout pregnancy. They didn’t bother me at all. But PP I wore cheap granny panties for a long time.

For bras I ended up needing to buy some new ones in the middle of pregnancy since my ribcage expanded so much. I tried to just use the extender hooks but that didn’t really work. I went with nursing bras since I knew I would need them. I also bought a size up in the cup and wish I wouldn’t have. My boobs really didn’t grow all that much more even with nursing. But I know everyone is different.

  • Not really maternity... but I'll ask here anyway.

Any recommendations for compression socks? I'm traveling for work next week and figure it wouldn't hurt to have compression socks for while I'm flying (I've already made sure to assign myself aisle seats in case I need to pee! :D). My flights are about 1 and 2 hours long with a hour and a half layover in-between so there will be opportunity for walking a bit. Obviously I need something I can get within the next couple days.

Fun patterns are welcome. Otherwise I'd stick to plain solid color socks that aren't white.
