Health/Fitness Goal (and why, if you want to share): Workout 3-5x a week to prepare for L&D and an easy recovery

Week's Successes: Two workouts and one loooooong day walking all over Busch Gardens

Week's Challenges: Just mostly emotional challenges. I’ve mentioned it a few times in other threads but we’re spending the week with my in-laws and I am always so stressed out here for so many reasons.

GTKY: What present do you most remember getting for Christmas as a kid? My parents got me and my sisters a Nintendo 64 one year with Donkey Kong and Super Mario Kart and we were over the moon! We still play it together sometimes.

ETA huge congrats again to @monstera13 for getting after your Fit Mom goals and killing that half marathon!

  • Health/Fitness Goal (and why, if you want to share): workout 3-5x a week

Week's Successes: 1 workout, 2 walks - one of which was through snow so should count for something? Ha.

Week's Challenges: Just prepping for Christmas. While still doing school because I’m a mean homeschool mom hahahaha.

GTKY: What present do you most remember getting for Christmas as a kid? Kind of randomly, the first one to mind was this toy horse. And I’m sure I got a lot of toy horses over the years. But I had done a week of horse camp that summer and my parents found one that looked like the horse I rode.

Health/Fitness Goal (and why, if you want to share): Eat healthy and perform regular exercises and workouts that will help make more an easier labor and birth!

Week's Successes: Does getting out of breath while wrapping presents count? 😅 And by wrapping, I mean stuffing presents into bags, and writing labels. 😆 Early this week I did get in 2 prenatal yoga workouts and 3 walks during my lunch break!

Week's Challenges: Between getting all the Christmas things done and having family staying with us, the past few days have not been easy— to find time to workout or to do anything else!

GTKY: What present do you most remember getting for Christmas as a kid? I’ve never been huge about presents— even when I was younger I was always very practical and only wanted things I needed! I do remember one year when I was really little though I wanted a horse so much. Obviously not living on a farm, this was not a reality, so my parents got me a big stuffed horse that was big enough for me to sit on, and I loved it so much!! My most memorable Christmas present moment though was probably when I was maybe 4ish years old, and I decided to surprise everyone by putting small chocolates (everyone’s favorite kind that was in the house) into the bottom of their stocking Christmas Eve. My parents were absolutely puzzled and for years afterwards, talked about how they couldn’t imagine how they got there! I told them of course it was Santa and they couldn’t argue with that. 😉

  • @aloha_mama I love Donkey Kong!! He’s always my player of choice when doing any games like Mario Kart!

@monstera13 Between running the half and running around doing all the Christmas things, I’m sure you’re very ready to relax a little bit!

@bluecampanula The gift I picked was also a toy horse! I’ve always been an animal person and despite living in a small village with no land or room for animals, I took horse training lessons when I was little and always dreamed of living on a farm!
