I just had my baby almost two weeks ago and with the holiday around the corner I would love to enjoy a glass of wine , but I’m also breastfeeding . I know they say you can have a glass and wait a few hours and be good but I’m just a little worried any mamas out there do this ?

My son is 2 months and I have before. If I’m not tipsy I would wait 2/3 hrs and breastfeed. But if I’m buzzed…. I play it safe and do the frozen milk until the next day. If after downing a few and you feel like you’ll still be feeling it in 2/3 hrs then that’s a sure sign you should feed him the milk you saved up.

They have strips you can buy, if you are nervous you can test your milk to make sure it has no alcohol content after drinking to be sure. They do recommend pumping beforehand to make sure you have expressed milk on hand just in case your milk still has a content.
