Hi ladies Has anyone had a positive pregnancy test at home then a negative in the doctors office? I had my BFP on Sunday and yesterday morning, did a urine sample last night around 3 at the doc's but it was neg. I'm assuming because 1 I'm really early and 2 it was in the afternoon that it was negative. I'm DPO 16 today and typical early preg symptoms, boobs, mild cramping, head ache.

I had that happen to me. Two positive tests at home, but a negative one in the office. It was completely nerve wrecking and gave me so much anxiety. My appt was in the afternoon. The doctor said it was most likely due to me having water during the day and diluted urine. He took some blood tests and waiting for the results was killer. I even took another pregnancy test at home in the morning while waiting on the results to ease my mind. Finally, the results came back, and I was pregnant. My advice - don’t do one of the things I did, google all scenarios!

Are they having you test again in a couple of days or blood work?
@caseys02 It depends on the quantity of HCG the different tests were set to look at. If you had a positive very early, you could be testing with a more sensitive test. Or it could have been a false positive. I'd definitely wait a few days and test again.

October 2015 - 1st MC. 7-8 weeks along. Suspected molar PG, but luckily just a MMC.
June 2016 - 2nd MC: 4-5 weeks CP
September 2016 - 3rd MC: 4-5 weeks CP
RE 1: ALL the testing - 'unexplained' "Yinz can do IVF or try on your own"
Feb 2017 - 4th MC: 6 weeks
RE 2: More tests. Still 'unexplained.' Called fat for an entire hour-long appointment, cried a lot
I put in a request to retest or do blood. I've done three at homes each day since Sunday and all are still very dark positives. I'm just hoping this sticks

I'd test again in a week, don't over-hydrate beforehand and try to schedule for the morning. I know waiting sucks, but you can always schedule an ultrasound once you're past 6 weeks to confirm that way.
