*I am drawing a blank on what this thread is called and the “back” tab is only going as far back as Page 2, so there is no old post to copy and paste. If anyone wants to update this just let me know.😄 Otherwise,
How are things going health-wise?
What are you focused on this week?
Any recent wins?

Re: Health Goals? w/o 10.11

  • @keikilove it used to be “healthy habits” but I kind of like “Health goals” better!

  • Joking aside though, I'm committed to trying to go swimming 2x this week. Also will invest in new running shoes with mega arch support. And will aim for a bike ride on the weekend.

    Otherwise, I have been a mega couch potato and I'm embarrassed. I am 20 lbs heavier than I was this time last year, so this has got to stop.

    @abjm0325 Good luck with the 5K Good for you for running so consistently.
    @pinkkillersheep WOW. That is all.

  • @pinkkillersheep Girl, I have no idea what you said but that sounds super impressive!

    @acleverusername I should get some new shoes too, thanks for the reminder. Definitely feeling you on being heavier this year than last.
  • you'd think paying for my peloton membership would be motivating... but nope. i really need to focus on going to bed at decent time so i can get up. if i do any kind of cardio at night i am up until 1am. so that option is just not reasonable. i am not happy when they send my my little recap email for sept that shows i only used it 1x a week.
  • We are going to Disneyland in December and I remember my legs being so tired the last time I went from all the walking so my goal is walk every day, working my way up to the 25k-30k steps I expect to get in a day at the parks.  Now that DH is no longer WFH I have to go alone and I am not walking as far because I get bored.
  • @acleverusername same on 20+ from last year! I love swimming as my exercise. We moved last year and I no longer have access to a pool and miss it!

    @anniemarie887 Same on the sleep MIL wants me to walk with her in the mornings but I currently just can't seem to get to bed early enough to get enough sleep and be up early enough to walk

    @abjm0325 I love couch to 5k! I did it a few years ago and found it really fun. That and Zomies Run!

    @pinkkillersheep That sounds so impressive to me! My arms are sore just from trimming the trees in my yard  :D
