TWW Wednesday 9/29 — The Bump
Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Wednesday 9/29

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: TWW Wednesday 9/29

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 25/5

    Timing: -3, -2, +1

    Typical LP length: 10

Testing: Nah. Only if I make it to 14 DPO ad my temp is still up, then maybe.

R/R: Rant- Annoyed with management at work. Rave- Went out for dinner and drinks with a friend I haven't seen in over a year and it was desperately needed. We had the best time!

CS/Q: I spent way too long playing around in FF to determine what timing would result in a 'high' probability. In summary, if you have '-1 and (O or -2) and -3' or '-2, -1, O' or '-3, -2, O, +1' you get 'high.' Any other combination of days that includes -2, -1 or O will result in 'good.' In case anyone else wanted the results of a pointless exercise in obsessing over timings  :D

  • @Paturkey I don't know if it was a study I saw or what, but something I read said sex on -2 had the highest probability of conception. I have no idea if that's based on having sex 1 time only in FW, or if they analyzed the FW as a whole. Like, of X number of couples that conceived in a cycle Y% had sex on -2 as one of the days in their FW. 🤷‍♀️

    Month/Cycle: 11 AL

    CD/DPO: 22/5

    Timing: -5, -1, 0, +1

    Typical LP length: 12 days

    Testing: this weekend

R/R: I'm surprisingly in a good mood all things considered. Haven't lost my mind yet at work being on my own which is a miracle with all the bonkers requests we've gotten just in 2 days. Excited to have variety to my morning tomorrow taking DH to the airport.

  • @inthewoods23 That's interesting. Glad that you're in a good mood and that you're not too overwhelmed on your own.

  • @Paturkey the funny thing is, when I'm out of the office on vacation, it somehow always happens to be a day or week that is super busy and hectic. When it's just me, it's easy peasy for the most part. I'm sure half the problem is that my coworker can be pretty slow at responding to emails so of course things pile up.

Today I've only had 4 calls to answer and that's it. More busy times of the year I'm answering over 10, and that's with both of us in the office. Things do tend to slow down towards the end of the year for us. I'm certainly not complaining!
