Re: Win/Wine/Whine Wednesday 9.15
I brushed the dog! Very small win but it is either raining or she is at doggy daycare or I'm too tired haha.
I love a good craft IPA - I've been drinking a lot of Focal Banger from The Alchemist
Apple cider mimosas (or regular)
When I want to have a lighter drink I either do grapefruit vodka with grapefruit seltzer and muddled black berries OR replace the vodka with elderflower gin
They are cutting down about 20 trees on our property line. By they I mean the power company because apparently Ash trees have some invasive bug that kills them in about 10 years time and they're getting at all done now. I love trees and nature so it is sad for me to see them killing live trees (crunchy lady over here). But it is also right outside my freaking window and I literally cannot hear or speak in all of my Zoom calls....
Probably my own emotions and anxieties in my head. I get in my own head and create scenarios that never happen and stress myself out. It’s annoying but idk how to stop.
sour beer, I like a lot of local ones. There’s one, not sure if it’s actually local because I’m all out, that is rainbow sherbet and phenomenal.
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.
July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen.
Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized.
From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos!
FET scheduled for Jan 20. Fully medicated, baby aspirin, dexamethasone, acupuncture, and as much woo as I can stand (which isn't very much). BFN.
I have worked out two days in a row this week. So I'm sore, but proud of myself! Goal is 4 days a week total.
Right now I am sipping a delightful tart, fruity beer. Yum.
I had to call to get our yard waste picked up because they missed us...again. It's the third time in two months and it's annoying.
DH left the back seats down in my car. This is obviously easily correctable myself but I never need to fix it until 1. I’m putting my briefcase in the car to go to work, in which case I’m running late and don’t have time or 2. I’m leaving work and just want to get home so I say I’ll do it later. So really I’m annoyed at both of us lol.
A pina colada
a good aged whiskey - mh once got me a 30yr Balvenie and holy f*** it was heavenly.
a light fruity white - like a Riesling
or a buttery Chardonnay
a Bloody Mary,
I once tried a half Bloody Mary and half Guinness and I know it sounds terrible but it was AMAZING.
