I am doing this on my own. Left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to cyst/necrosis just after birth. Right ovary and tube still purport to function.

Mar-Jun '19 IUIs, all BFN
Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.
April '20 --> June '20, natural IUIs, all BFN.
July? saline ultrasound and bubble test demonstrate open tube

@inthewoods23 I love your little aspen so much! I’ve recently started 2 little apple trees in my house, I have a great window for them, and I can’t wait to put them outside. But the have a long way to go. They’re only like 4in high lol
I just harvested my garlic! I'm so pleased/proud. Some of the heads are just massive! I think maybe i could have waited for more of them to "flop" for in-ground curing, but it's my first time growing garlic. Hopefully they'll dry nicely under cover on my back porch. Now I have to learn how to braid it!

I was so inspired by all of you posting about gardening in the IF thread!🌳💗 🌱 💗🪴💗 🌹 My brother is out of town so I went to his house to water his very large garden. That in itself was so relaxing! So now I’m officially motivated to do something with this travesty we dare to call our COVID garden.🤣
But seriously, I actually did something I can post here! I wrote a menu for a friend for a wedding. It was my first time writing on chalkboard. I’ve written wedding seating arrangements on large glass mirrors, but can’t share those here because of all the first and last names.😉

It looks like you have a hard neck variety. Any particular kind?
Ours is a hard neck from Calabria Italy! Over a hundred years ago, someone brought some garlic over from Italy, and their family has propagated it here since that time. They have it to some of our friends - and our friends gave some to us. As an Italy and garlic lover, the origin story is so fun! This is our second year growing it.
I am excited that our little garden experiment worked! Last year we overwintered this jalapeño plant and tried to see if we could bring it back this spring/summer. It worked! Now I counted 9 little jalapeños and many more flowers.
@laura-kay the variety is called "silver rose" (https://www.siskiyouseeds.com/collections/garlic/products/garlic-silver-rose) and is ostensibly a softneck variety. I may have harvested mine too early but the bulbs are huge and many of the plants had begun to flop over. most had between 3-5 leaf sets still greenish but about half the leaves were brown. i hope i didn't harvest too early! next season i would like to experiment with a few different kinds of garlic, including a hardneck variety or two.
i love that you managed to coax your pepper plant into producing again for you this year!

@laura-kay before I read that you over wintered your pepper plant I was like that thing looks like a pepper tree!!! It makes sense now. Lol. How did you over winter it? Did you have to bring it in or cover it? What is your winter weather like? For us it gets very cold and we get lots of snow, sometimes feet at a time.

Girlfriend, with everything else you've got going on, it is no wonder you don't have time for that. Your sign boards are lovely though, I wish my cursive was that pretty. Also, dyyying over the menu, that basically sounds like all my favourite things. MH never understood our obsessed with ahi tuna poke (it *specifically* has to be ahi tuna) until we went to Hawaii, and now he's been enlightened. My family has been throwing around the idea of a group trip with my parent's BFF's family who we used to vacation with as children. Her 91 year old Mom wants to go back to Hawaii one last time while she can still travel and has begged my Aunt to take her. The rest of us will just tag along. @laura-kay oh wow, I didn't know you could over-winter pepper plants. Did you bring it right inside or just move it to a garage/somewhere it wouldn't freeze completely? I always grow my peppers from seed and they've always done very well but if I could overwinter them maybe that'll save me a few steps in the spring. Yours looks very healthy. I see @paytonpedro has the same questions lol.

I'm probably biting off more than I can chew, but imma attempt to make a cake in the shape of a sewing machine. I've got one in the oven now to practice so I can see if I should attempt it or my original simpler idea.
proof of concept shape test worked! Although, I think instead I'm going to make a sheet cake, and cut out the image of the machine laying on its side, that way I don't need to worry about structural integrity.
@fantasyflyte ok so that is so much better than I could do!! Is there something you could put under the bridge part to help? And maybe a dowel where it meets the other piece of cake? Probably don’t take my advice haha. Have you seen Nailed It on Netflix? That’s me 😅🤣 edit- I looked again and I see the purple holding them together.
@paytonpedro yeah, that's pretty much what I did, I had a vertical rod in the main part and a horizontal one through the top. It probably would have been fine, but putting it sideways on a base cake will make it less of a concern lol.
@fantasyflyte maybe use a cake board to support the top half? That way the purple dowel is resting on something a bit more supportive and you don't have to worry about a mid-span bridge collapse.
Re: my pepper plant - I just took it inside over the winter! It stayed alive though by the end the leaves weren’t as vibrant or healthy. Once I took it out in the spring, I pruned it some and it grew back nice and healthy. It’s really cold in winters here as well, so I definitely couldn’t overwinter it outside.

I am so excited!! I totally needed a gardening fix, so I was so happy when it worked!! That’s one great thing about working from home….Step out from some crazy meetings and issues at work and pick a garlic plant

Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.

Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.
July '22 egg retrieval same protocol: 9 days of stims; AFC 8; 10 retrieved, 8 mature, 4 fertilized and frozen.
Sept '22 ER same protocol: AFC 10; 12 retrieved, 11 mature, 11 fertilized.
From the 3 retrievals, 7 survived to day 5-6 blastocyst, from which I have 2 normal embryos!

Ours is a hard neck from Calabria Italy! Over a hundred years ago, someone brought some garlic over from Italy, and their family has propagated it here since that time. They have it to some of our friends - and our friends gave some to us. As an Italy and garlic lover, the origin story is so fun! This is our second year growing it.

@keikilove I just laughed out loud at your covid garden, LOL. Girlfriend, with everything else you've got going on, it is no wonder you don't have time for that. Your sign boards are lovely though, I wish my cursive was that pretty. Also, dyyying over the menu, that basically sounds like all my favourite things. MH never understood our obsessed with ahi tuna poke (it *specifically* has to be ahi tuna) until we went to Hawaii, and now he's been enlightened. My family has been throwing around the idea of a group trip with my parent's BFF's family who we used to vacation with as children. Her 91 year old Mom wants to go back to Hawaii one last time while she can still travel and has begged my Aunt to take her. The rest of us will just tag along.
@laura-kay oh wow, I didn't know you could over-winter pepper plants. Did you bring it right inside or just move it to a garage/somewhere it wouldn't freeze completely? I always grow my peppers from seed and they've always done very well but if I could overwinter them maybe that'll save me a few steps in the spring. Yours looks very healthy. I see @paytonpedro has the same questions lol.
