Anyone else seeing the new color scheme on the site? I don't particularly care for this blue text and buttons.

I liked the baby green. This is a baby site after all!

@inthewoods23 I was hoping someone would mention this today! 

Personally, I like it WAY better than the old version. Somehow this looks sleek & modern. Not sure if they also changed the font or something, but I always thought the site looked seriously outdated (at least in my phone).

@keikilove I do like that there's a lot more white! Perhaps that's because I have never liked pink so that was always too much for me in the banners and such. The blue text does have a better contrast. I'm sure there are other worse choices in font color! lol

Now that I've stared at the new color scheme for a while I do like it.

Ooh ooh I thought of a UO. 

I don't like tie dye. It's like a box of markers threw up over something. Occasionally I think it looks ok if it's a single color, blended softly with a white background in a indistinct pattern (aka not that awful spiral shape).

@pajamstagrams oh same! I rarely ever like the look of tie dye.

Here is one. I hate the saying "Say it louder for the people in the back." It comes off as rude and just makes me annoyed, even if I agree with what you're saying.

I kind of like the update. It looks cleaner to me. However my favorite color is pink so I wish there was a little left. 

Tie dye- I like it if it’s not the spiraled thing and done well

Oh hey, I've got one that's possibly opening up a pandora's box but I'm genuinely curious: ever since I've been on here, I noticed the "practice" is to tag everyone in any thread you respond to. But, some of the updates are super short and, quite honestly, replying to them feels disingenuous. Like, if you just tell me that "it's Monday" in the R/R part, do I really need to tag you in my reply? And likewise, if I tag everyone, but then someone else doesn't tag me back, should I be offended/hurt?

@acleverusername i didn’t know that! I wouldn’t be offended if people skipped me sometimes. I skip occasionally because I don’t see it, forget, or just don’t have anything to say. I doubt people are keeping score that closely

@acleverusername I suppose it is a bit of an unwritten rule, but if you don't have anything to say in response because they don't say much then don't feel bad about not tagging and responding to them! We don't have to be friends with everybody here.

Early FFTC, not gonna lie, I've been here long enough that plenty of people have come through who are annoying AF to me either because of their attitudes or because they barely write anything that would be worth responding to. I have actively avoided posting in the dailies before on the days certain people happen to post before me because I don't want to do the niceties of tagging them and responding. And no, I have not done this for some time if you're wondering.

@acleverusername I have always felt the same way about this. Especially when this board was super busy and it felt
like there were at least 20 people to tag in any given thread. It would take me over an hour!😆 I do not mind being skipped if I’ve barely written anything and I’ve adjusted to not skipping others but would love it if others didn’t mind.

@acleverusername oh I have Thoughts about this. First, I do try to tag everyone but it’s because if I don’t it’s too easy to fall into the trap of not reading posts of people I don’t “know” and then I don’t ever get to know them.  But, if someone doesn’t tag everyone, especially in a daily thread, I don’t think anything of it. In a weekly thread it’s kind of like - eh you have all week. But even still, not a huge deal, unless you tag absolutely no one ever (which I have seen before - twice that I can think of offhand - literally weeks of daily posts without ever replying to one person) Or if you constantly skip me when I’m replying to you every time then I’m probably going to stop.

Hmmm this is a good one! I don’t really mind being skipped unless the person doesn’t engage at all, which I felt like was happening at points (not right now but somewhat recently) I do always try to post something of substance so that there’s something to respond to but honestly it can be a struggle some days (ie today’s update of there was a thunderstorm last night hahah).

@fameonmain2 yeah I agree with that. I mean if it’s all the time that would get old. But on the other hand if someone just doesn’t like talking to me that’s cool we don’t have to lol 

now I do have another housekeeping question- is it considered rude to read two other peoples interactions in the dailies?

@daisy0322 read? nah. And I wouldn't consider it rude if someone chimed in on something said between 2 people if you have something related to add. Like if you also had a similar experience with some idiot at a store or something (idk making this topic up lol) I don't see why you couldn't tag both people. Just the other day I chimed in about also being a competitive swimmer that I wasn't originally part of.

@acleverusername I try to tag most folks that reply ahead of me in the dailies but I fail often. I get distracted and accidentally miss someone or I just don’t have time to tag everyone and always think I’ll come back to it later but then I don’t. I never use a computer for the Bump so I think doing it all on my phone slows me down, too. All that said, I don’t have expectations that folks will tag me in daily posts. I’d be sad if I never got tagged but since I know I miss/skip folks sometimes, I completely expect the same.

@acleverusername I've always felt the same way. I try to stick to a balance. I don't usually respond to everyone but also want to show that I read their post. I guess love tits do that too 🤔.

I try to respond to everyone, just because I don't want to leave anyone out, and, like @bows22 said, how else will you get to know people? But not gonna lie, some days if I join in late, I just skip because it's overwhelming to respond to everyone (and I just can't *not* do it). And I also don't usually post in the dailies every day because I just don't have anything new to talk about 😂😂

@bows22 Oooooh you bring up some great points! I get especially annoyed with those who never tag anyone but keep posting their daily update. Like, what are you doing here then? We’ve actually had a handful of those, especially in recent months.  And love your meme.😄

@fameonmain2 Yes, agreed. Love your example of the thunderstorm.😁 I do find that interesting! 

@pajamstagrams With you 💯 on sometimes being overwhelmed with the number of replies if joining in late. I def skips the dailies sometimes when that happens because my time zone makes it hard to keep up/wake up before there are a million posts.

We used to do a thing where, like even with 20+ posters on the dailies, people would go through and literally respond to everyone.  Now, I would agree with pretty much all that PPs have said.  It's just not possible in reality to do that for everyone every day, nor should anyone feel obligated.  But I think it's a nice gesture to try and make the point to be as inclusive as possible.  You don't have to be BFFs with everyone, but at the same time, it's good make an effort not to let it get too cliquey.

What a great convo. I love @bows22 perspective about getting to know newbies. And also @pajamstagrams and @keikilove I’m totally with you on being overwhelmed with some days with 20+ posts. 

@kgg2241 lol at “love tits”; I mean, I know exactly what you’re talking about, but it still took me a while to remember that you weren’t talking about being enamored with breasts.

Ok, @acleverusername finally prompted me to ask the group this last random thought on this: Does anyone know where the term “love tits” came from? Why don’t we just say we “like” or “love” a post? I get that if you say “I loved it” it sounds like “love tit”. But does anyone know where that started?

@keikilove I believe it started from one serendipitous typo that stuck times 1000 and there was no looking back.  It has pretty much *ever* been love tits! And will always be love tits!!!

Hahaha I think @BusinessWife is right. I'm not sure if I was around when it happened, but it has always been love tits in my mind.

From my searching the term "love tit" has been used as far back as May 2014 so I'm pretty sure it pre-dates all of us

I didn't even know the bump actually calls it a "love it" until recently, and I've been on this site for a couple years, off and on. I've always heard "love tit" and was shocked when I saw otherwise 😂

haha here is a prime example of where i would feel semi stressed trying to tag the right people as i commented tbh... it's hard when you're late the convo to play catch up. sometimes i feel like i just add my .02 but don't properly tag (like now) and i hope that's not a huge faux pas! i def try and interact with everyone, but sometimes it's hard! i will say sometimes i feel silly posting in dailies when it's like "nothing new to see over here!"
