Where is everyone?! I was surprised these weren’t started yet!

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, gonna start BBT 

R/R: ended up getting my period 20 min before we were leaving for the pool this morning, boo. Better than it arriving while we were there I guess! My thermometer should come Monday so I’m excited to get a better idea of what my body is up to. 

My friend was in town last night and we went out to eat and then she stayed at our house. It was so good to see her! Otherwise not much going on over here this weekend, just trying to avoid the heat/humidity and the cicadas 🤢

R/R: Just wanted to thank everyone who answered my question on OPK brands yesterday! I ended up sleeping in this morning, and I don't really like sleeping in. When I do, I end up feeling tired all day. Ugh, I've been dragging today.

@b_1029 some weekends tend to be quiet; I guess ppl are starting to go out and about seeing ppl; too bad about your period but way to look on the bright side about not getting it while at the pool. I hope you can escape the humidity and the cicadas. 

@awello good luck with OPKs this cycle. What’s sleeping in for you? (I.e. what time did you wake up?)

WAYDTGKU: abstaining until after O; then starting IVF (mid-luteal start)

R/R: I don’t have any plans this weekend (other than acupuncture this morning) and I am oh so happy. There’s plenty to do around the house, but I’m really hoping that we’ll relax. So far today has been super productive: acupuncture and then I added a cupping treatment to it. Then I also treated myself to some retail therapy. Then I spent the morning running errands: returning stuff, buying groceries, etc. I also optimistically booked a (refundable) ticket back home for a month Jul 17-Aug 21. I paid extra to make it refundable because if Canada doesn’t cancel the 14-day quarantine requirement, I won’t go (there absolutely no point in me bumming around by myself). But at least it’s booked in case that all happens. 

CS/Q: CBAD finally turned H today so I’m hoping I’ll get a surge in the next 3-4 days. Looks like taking a super low dose of Letrazole doesn’t move up my O date by much; maybe only by 3-5 days. It’s funny because at 5mg, I O on Day 10-12.

@acleverusername For me, sleeping in is around 8:30 - 9:00. I'm normally up about 6:30 - 7:00.

@awello 8:30/9 is my ideal sleep time! I don’t feel like I’ve wasted the day, and it’s still later than weekdays. Sadly my body wakes up at 6 or so no matter what. 

@acleverusername hope you all are able to chill a bit! I love weekends with no plans 🙌🏼 Sorry for not being updated, but is this your first cycle taking letrozole? I started on the lowest dose also and didn’t notice much of a change in O, maybe a day or two. The higher dose didn’t have much of an effect either, I was surprised!

@b_1029 I've taken Letrazole 4 other cycles previously. When I first started IUIs, my RE had me take 5mg right away. That would make me ovulate around Day 11-12, EXCEPT 1 cycle, when I O'ed on Day 14 (and that time, I was taking both 5mg of Letrazole + 75IU of Menopur, so go figure). Even when I took 10mg (last IUI; that one produced 4 mature follicles), I O'ed on Day 12. Anyway, the whole point of taking Letrazole this cycle was to speed up Ovulation so that I can start stimming earlier. In non-medicated cycles, I tend to O on Day 20-21, and that's JUST. TOO. LONG. TO. WAIT. Lol. 

@awello Yep, I can't sleep past 6:30-6:45. And now that we have a dog (only 4 weeks since she's been with us), she wakes up between 6-6:20 and since we leave her crate open, comes up to the side of the bed, puts her front paws on the platform, finds your face, and start licking like mad. LOOOL. It's cute, but also kinda annoying.

@acleverusername ah gotcha, that makes sense! Day 20-21 ☠️ That is a long time to wait!

@acleverusername aww. Before my dog got old and crotchety, he used to come upstairs during the night and beg to come into bed with us.

WAYDTGKU: BBT OPK CM PNV - discussing embryo adoption with MH in case I’m just done ovulating. 

R/R: well yesterday we set out to get all the yard work done. We got the garden bed taken care of.  MH spayed the house and cleaned the gutters half way around the house and I stated painting the shutters. Then out of no where I got really sick. I felt like I was going to get a fever/ I was kind of lightheaded but I’m not sure if I did and very nauseous with an awful headache. Today it’s really just my stomach and head. Could probably get up and function today and be fine but I really just want to stay in bed. It’s very weird. 

CS/Q: my temp isn’t a fever but it’s still REALLY high but I still took it for records sake.

@b_1029 I’m glad you had fun your your friend! Yes the cicadas are insane here too it driving me crazy.

@awello I love sleeping in! In fact I’ve worked night shift before and I actually function better on it oddly enough.

@daisy0322 that is QUITE the temp spike! Haven’t seen anything that drastic on here. Haha. I hope you’re feeling better today? If staying in bed is an option; then you should go for it! I LOVE acupuncture; I usually end up falling asleep. Hehe. I understand though how some ppl would be annoyed by just lying there.

@acleverusername if I’m being honest I’m totally milking it today.... I have a pretty bad headache but I’m okay other than that for the most part. I’m sending hubs out for Tylenol and I’ll probably have a miraculous recovery after that 🤣  I’m hoping my temp spike isn’t just because I was sick but I’m sure it was 🙄  I always fell asleep durning acupuncture too! I actually did it for anxiety and depression and it really did help
